Sunday, 20 December 2009 07:33

About one month after the Italian release of the album, FIMI has certified that HEART has reached a major milestone.
The new album by Elisa has been awarded the double platinum record --  in Italy a platinum record is given every 70,000 copies sold.

Another important success comes for the single "Ti Vorrei Sollevare" that still lies at the top of the chart of the most broadcast songs on Italian radios (source: Nielsen Music Control)

Your voice, songwriting and production are incredible. You and Sarah McLachlan are the finest female performers in the world, and I wish you unbridled success in every single project you tackle, because your humility also means you deserve such success.

Please, continue to write, record and perform. Every song I hear feels like a gift to the true music fan. Ignore the audiophile comment above from someone who wishes he had a fragment of your talent and that of your co-producers.

As a Brit, now living in the United States I wish we could see you more often, and I wish we could access your material beyond the UK and USA iTunes stores…Italy is truly lucky to have you.

Keep rocking!!

PS - That performance of Luce at San Remo '07 was both awe-inspiring and breathtaking!

copy of HEART…I am not so happy.
The use of PRO-TOOLS is inexcusable.
The sound quality of the album makes the
album unlistenable on a real HiFi system.
Making albums to suit iTunes at 128kps
is total contempt for those who buy the music on CD or wanted on vinyl or a Flac file. Why not use ADOBE AUDITION it costs a 10th of the price and produces ten times superior results to
Pro-Tools. If the elements exist pre-ProTools then remaster and rerelease.
